MOFPI is set to establish 50 Food Irradiation Units and 100 Food Quality & Safety Testing Labs across the country to bolster food safety, enhance quality standards, and reduce post-harvest losses. These initiatives will strengthen the food processing ecosystem, empower farmers, and promote the availability of safe and high-quality food for consumers.
